Senior Lead NetSuite Developer
We are seeking an experienced Senior Lead NetSuite Developer to lead our technical team in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable NetSuite solutions.
The ideal candidate is not only highly skilled in NetSuite development (SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SDF) but also has proven experience in CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, GitHub workflows, and managing development teams. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on coding expertise, and a passion for building high-quality, efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle of NetSuite customizations and integrations using SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF).
- Define, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and version control using GitHub.
- Establish and enforce best practices for automated testing and code quality standards across the development team.
- Manage, mentor, and guide a team of NetSuite developers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of projects.
- Perform regular code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to standards.
- Collaborate closely with the CTO to define, develop, and continuously improve software development processes, standards, and practices.
- Partner with functional consultants, business analysts, and stakeholders to design technical solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalable solutions.
- Stay current with NetSuite releases, updates, and emerging tools to continuously evolve best practices.
Required Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated success delivering enterprise-scale NetSuite solutions using SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and SDF.
- Proven ability to design and implement CI/CD pipelines that improved delivery speed, code reliability, and deployment efficiency.
- Track record of leveraging GitHub workflows (Pull Requests, Branching, Actions) to enforce collaboration and streamlined version control.
- Experience introducing and maintaining automated testing frameworks that measurably reduced defects and improved system stability.
- Extensive background in leading and managing development teams, with a focus on mentoring, growth, and high-quality delivery.
- Established standards for code reviews that improved maintainability, reduced technical debt, and fostered team knowledge sharing.
- Delivered robust NetSuite integrations with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs.
- Applied Agile methodologies to successfully prioritize, deliver, and adapt solutions in fast-paced environments.
- Collaborative leader with a proven ability to work directly with senior stakeholders and translate business goals into technical outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- NetSuite certifications (ERP Consultant, SuiteCloud Developer, or Administrator) are a plus.
